Self-Control

This series examines the dual nature of self-control, showing how it can guide growth but also cause harm when taken too far. Each image repeats the subject twice, one acting as the controller, the other as controlled, to visualize the tension of struggling against oneself. The stark white backgrounds emphasize solitude and the private mental space of internal conflict, grounding these hidden battles in reality. Together, the photographs invite reflection on where discipline transforms into restraint and how easily the line between the two can blur.
