Rowdy’s Character

This spread functions as an interactive I Spy moment within the magazine, inviting readers to search for hidden characters as they move through each section. Photographed in a lighting studio, the models appear as a single masked figure that embodies escapism—questioning reality, shedding identity, and existing as a symbol rather than an individual. The covered face removes specificity, allowing the character to stand in for anyone who has wanted to disappear, transform, or start over. Through digital editing and composition in Photoshop and layout in InDesign, the spread introduces a visual thread that reflects the tension between resistance and surrender, between wanting to be seen and wanting to vanish, guiding readers to actively engage with the issue as they read.
