Commissioned product shoot for JW PEI, a Los Angeles-based accessories brand known for its vegan leather handbags. Given full creative freedom to photograph the Nery Shark Bag, the concept builds an underwater world around the product, drawing from its playful shark form and cool-toned palette. The shoot was creatively directed, styled, photographed, and lit entirely in studio, with a custom set constructed from metallic materials, netting, pearls, and other ocean-inspired elements. A mylar sheet was used as a light reflector to create shifting highlights and mimic the movement of light underwater. The styling, makeup, set design, and lighting work together to transform the bag into the centerpiece of its own surreal aquatic environment.
