This project reimagines the editorial graphic for “Self-curatorship: The Digital Ego of the Young Creative,” an article exploring how social media allows young creatives to curate their identities while creating tension between authenticity and performance. The design translates the article’s ideas of self-curation and fragmented identity into nine mixed-media portraits, each representing a different constructed version of the same digital self. The portraits use collage, photography, illustration, texture, and bold color while maintaining a consistent front-facing structure to function as a visual system. Arranged within a social media-inspired grid, the final design reflects how an online identity becomes a collection of carefully selected and altered versions of ourselves.
