Hedwig Promotion

Promotional photoshoot commissioned for a student-run production of Hedwig and the Angry Inch.
The imagery draws from the show’s neo-glam, post-punk sensibility to create a confrontational visual presence rooted in performance, excess, and defiance. Rather than documenting the production, the shoot treats Hedwig as a living symbol of self-invention—blurred between persona and person, spectacle and vulnerability. The resulting images are built to provoke, amplify attitude, and reflect the show’s core tension around identity, wholeness, and refusal to be diminished.
