Dissociation Photo Edits
These photo edits were developed in collaboration with the photo directors to support the Dissociation section of the magazine. The imagery explores dissociation as a form of escape—not from reality itself, but from the version of the self shaped by external pressure. Heavy color manipulation, distortion, motion blur, and multi-exposure techniques visualize the internal tension between presence and absence, feeling too much and feeling nothing at all. The resulting images reflect dissociation as a response rather than avoidance, capturing a fragmented sense of identity while preserving a subtle thread of resistance beneath the detachment.
